DRIVING INSIGHTS
TSPTR originates rather than
follows, sparking discussions with consumers harnessing active participation
with the niche, subjective and personal topics they address.
Young women must
participate in survival tactics to stay safe day and night, with 100% of young
women surveyed saying they felt uncomfortable walking the streets alone.
Street harassment has become
normalised in society subsequently, young women have become ‘deaf’ to this
harassment believing it is just ‘something they have to deal with’.
The visual narrative of street
harassment is unappealing and overused causing young women to glance over the
content.
CONCEPT
The 'cats in the street’ focuses on the normalisation of catcalling within society and how it has become something that women ‘just have to deal with’. Through showing the harsh reality behind catcalling we can create a relatable experience for the young female consumer.
